Groom's Cottage offers a well maintained and high standard of comfort for guests in a B&B establishment, with care and attention paid to guests needs. On site parking with easy access from road, Entrance lobby on ground floor with WC, Ground floor twin room with ensuiet, Double room with private bathroom upstairs.

• Bus route out of Lincoln no 365 8miles from city, bus stop opposite accommodation outside village church.

• Local taxi service 2 miles away.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

 

• Entrance to parking facility is via a dropped curb from road

• Car parking designated area is clearly signed with reflective notice

• The surface of car park is gravel with a pathway to accommodation in stone slabs and gravel, all on the level.

• There is outside lighting on all parts of the arrival and car parking area

• The distance from car to accommodation is approx 10meters

• Any assistance required for luggage etc will be available

 

Main Entrance

 

• Entrance to property is via B&B guest entrance, or through proprietors utility/kitchen door.

• Entrance is via a small doorstep and all reception rooms on one level.

• Entrance lobby is carpeted and uniformed lighting.

• Additional keys to rooms are available on request.

• Personal welcome from host.

 

Public Area

 

• Entrance lobby has WC, and staircase leading to upstairs bedroom/bathroom all carpeted and uniformity of lighting.

• All doors are wooden stable doors

• Twin bedroom with ensuite is of entrance lobby, double room with private bathroom is upstairs.

• The proprietors own room is available for afternoon tea etc, it is carpeted throughout, on same level as entrance lobby.

Dining Room,

• Breakfast is served in dining room on ground floor, seating for 8 at a large table.

• Wooden floor with rug in centre, glass door leading onto patio offers plenty of light on sunny days.

• Large and varied breakfast on offer, special diets can be catered for.

• Tea can be taken on the patio leading from dining room. • A small door step leads onto patio with garden furniture Patio is all on same level.

• Proprietor holds food hygiene certificate.

• No smoking establishment.

• No pets in establishment

• Fire assembly point is in car park.

• A fridge is available for storing items for guests

• An iron and ironing board is available for use by request

• Drying facilities are available by request

Future Plans

 

• Groom' cottage has undergone major refurbishment to a high standard.

• The gardens are a work in progress with woodland walk and seating areas being added for guests use.
