Introduction

 

Shepherd's Cottage offers a well maintained and high standard of comfort for guests in a self catering establishment, with care and attention paid to guests needs. On site parking with easy access from road, Entrance leads into galley kitchen, tiled floor on same level as patio and car park. The cottage is two story’s with double bedroom and bathroom on ground floor, and twin room upstairs.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

 

• Entrance to parking facility is via a dropped curb from road

• Car parking designated area is clearly signed with reflective notice

• The surface of car park is gravel with a pathway to accommodation of stone slabs.

• There is outside lighting on all parts of the arrival and car parking area

• The distance from car park to accommodation is approx 6 meters

• Any assistance required for luggage etc will be available

• Personal greeting by proprietor.

 

Main Entrance

 

• Entrance to accommodation is via paved area all on one level.

• Entrance directly into galley kitchen on one level

• Additional keys to cottage are available on request.

• Entrance has uniformed lighting and is light and airy

• All doors in cottage are wooden stable doors

 

Stairs

 

• Sitting room is directly of the kitchen on same level, with a staircase leading to twin bedroom, stairs are carpeted with uniformed lighting and a balcony overlooking sitting area.

 

Sitting room

 

• The sitting room is light and airy with a high ceiling with exposed beams, a large picture window the width of room allows for excellent views with blinds and quality soft furnishings.

• A substantial farmhouse pine table with padded chairs for dining.

• Colour tv with dvd player.

 

Bedrooms

 

• Double room with 5ft bed on ground floor

• Anti allergy mattress and pillow protectors, duvet and pillows are Hollow fibre.

• All bed linen in cottage is cotton.

• Twin room upstairs with anti allergy mattress and pillow protectors duvets and pillows are hollow fibre.

• Twin room has small cottage windows and velux roof windows for a light and airy feeling.

• All bedrooms are carpeted and have uniformed ceiling lighting and selection of table lamps.

 

Shower-room & WC

 

• Shower room is spacious and well light.

• Shower is a walk in shower with tray raised slightly above floor and a small step up into it.

• The shower room also has a WC and a hand basin, with a mirror above the sink with light above.

 

Kitchen

 

• The galley kitchen has wooden kitchen units with a laminate top to work surface's.

• A fridge with freezer compartment under work surface.

• A washer drier under work surface.

• An electric 4 ring hob and electric oven.

• Iron and ironing board.

• Microwave oven.

• Fire extinguisher and fire blanket positioned at side of entrance door, emergency fire procedure instructions are positioned on the entrance door

 

Grounds and Gardens

 

• A patio outside entrance door is paved in stone with a grassed area for guests use, all on same level.

• Garden furniture is provided.

• Access to woodland walk is available to guests.

• Shepherd’s Cottage has a NO SMOKING POLICY.

• No pets in establishment

• Fire assembly point in car park.
